Chain of surprises

This weekend when I went to brother's shop they told me a short while ago a friend of mine came and left a package for me from Spain. I tried hard my mind but couldnt find who it was. When I checked out the presents and saw a bottle of original wine and a pair castanets from Sevilla I found out who she was. One of the teacher friends with whom I worked at the same school for two years . When I last visited her she told me that she would join to a 3 weeks of Spain trip for their school project.
As soon as I came home I phoned and thanked her happily. Thats very kind of her thinking of me . She moved from this city last month but at the end of the trip she directly travelled here to see everybody for the last time. So I didnt remind her that we dont drink any alcoholic drink . Even I kept the bottle for one day for the possibility of a short visit of her one more day .
On Saturday night Elif dropped and we talked about this winter's fashion and off season sales.I told her about a jacket I saw in LC Waikiki.
On Sunday just as I was working in the kitchen the door was knocked and son opened and the door was closed again. Son came into the kitchen with a present packet. And a phone from Elif , '' Is that that jacket?''
These two surprises and a nice ifthar with some colleques of hubby made my weekend.
